Dr. Kyle Bloch

  Dr. Kyle

  Owner & Chiropractor

Dr. Kyle is a transplant to the Northern Virginia area, originating from central Minnesota. His love of medicine and helping those in need started at a young age after helping take care of his father through his fight with cancer. Dr. Kyle knew that if there was anything he could do to prevent others from being uncomfortable or alleviate their pains he had to try to help. Dr. Bloch began his undergraduate studies in biology with an emphasis in biochemistry and biotechnology, feeling that cancer research was where he was meant to be. He completed a Research Experience for Undergraduates, a nationwide competition funded in part by the National Science Foundation, in neuroscience under the direction of Dr. John Spitsbergen of Western Michigan University. It was during that time that Dr. Kyle realized that research would not fulfill the passion he had to work with patients and it was important for him to make a decision on if he would travel down the medical doctor path or alternative medicine route.

Dr. Kyle had a chance encounter with a chiropractor who was visiting his college campus and it was the event that would change his life and lead him to become the owner of American Wellness and Chiropractic. After graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Bloch had to make a decision, stay home in Minnesota or take a chance and make a break for the east coast. It was a hard decision, however when an opportunity presented itself for Dr. Kyle to work with Dr. Phil Golinsky of RxWellness Spine and Health in Herndon, VA he knew it was the right decision. Under the guidance of Dr. Golinsky, Dr. Kyle was exposed to numerous clinical cases involving migraines, neck pain, lower back pain, sciatica, neuropathy, sprains, and strains. After two years of seeing 120-150 patients a week Dr. Kyle decided it was time for him to branch out on his own. In 2015, Dr. Bloch found a practice that was for sale in Manassas, Va and purchased it with the intention of branding it after his ideals for healing and treating patients.

Dr. Bloch has become a champion in the Manassas / Bristow community for the Military service men and women, the homeless, and the Lion's club. American Wellness and Chiropractic is an active participant for the Patriot Project, a collection point for clothes, tents, and other household items needed for the homeless, and is a collection point for toner/printer cartridges and eyeglasses for the Lions Club. Charity is a big part of Dr. Kyle's life; he believes that if you have the power to make a difference in someone else life you should seize the opportunity because you never truly know the gravity of the impact that you will make.

Outside of the practice Dr. Kyle enjoys traveling with his partner Rich to some of their favorite places including Maine, Prague, CZ, and Italy. He enjoy's the arts and takes time to attend a Kennedy Center performance equally as often as he attends local theater events. Dr. Kyle enjoys working out and is looking forward to getting back into running.
